Registering with CHEERS is easy, fast and simple!

Getting your project started with CHEERS is intuitive, fast and easy! Our online entry system makes getting your HERS Test and Title 24 compliance simple.

Head over to www.cheers.org and click register in the top right-hand corner of the screen.  Once you click register, you will be directed to the Create an Account page. Choose which role describes you best, the options are:

  • Homeowner
  • Building Department
  • Contractor / Installer
  • Builder
  • Energy Consultant
  • Architect / Designer
  • Rater
  • Rater Admin

 

Homeowners:

CHEERS makes Finding A Pro to help with the HERS process super easy. In our Find A Pro section, enter in your zip code and find a contractor in your area. All contractors in our database are familiar with the HERS process and work with HERS Raters that are CHEERS certified. This takes the guesswork out of Title 24.

Building department:

The smart search auto-populates, so search for your jurisdiction by Town, City or County. Don’t see your jurisdiction? Let us know ASAP. Once you choose your jurisdiction, enter your name and email address. You’ll receive an email shortly with your credentials. That’s it!

Contractor, HERS Rater OR Energy Consultants:

If you are with a company that’s already registered with CHEERS, follow these steps:

  • Register a New Company? – Click NO
  • Start typing in the name of your company and choose from the auto-populated list.
  • Enter in the User Information including Name, Role and Address.
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions
  • Click Submit

 If your company is not yet registered with CHEERS, no worries! Simply click “YES” and fill out your company information:

  • Company Name
  • Company Address & Phone Number
  • Enter in the User Information including Name, Role and Email Address
  • Agree to the Terms & Conditions
  • Click Submit
